Days 7, 8 & 9

I am going to take this opportunity to use my blog to write for today rather than write an typical "entry" or do any post journaling or anything like that. For inspiration, I will be drawing from a random website using a web-tool known as Stumble Upon. Whatever random site it brings up will be my muse, here we go.

Flash Earth

The word crust, as it is known, only draws images of the scattered bones of a devoured pizza. The ends of slices tossed back into the box and left to go stale and hard overnight, each strip ridded with crescent bites gnawed to the edge. The crust is my favorite part of the pie-- a reward for finishing off all the cheese and sauce and grease. Once, I watched a curious squirrel steal an entire slice of pizza from a trashcan. It was wrapped in aluminum foil, which the squirrel quickly unravelled. He sat-resilient and focused-on the cheese and pepperoni and nibbled furiously on the crust. When someone approached, the squirrel tried to carry of the slice with him, but struggled in the process. Eventually, he managed to get the entire slice back into the tree with him. I laughed to myself and thought, "Man, I sure hope that pizza lands on someone's head." I will never know for sure.

On Earth, water is king, sought to saturate and soak to the very core. Someday, as we boil in our seas, I hope someone might wonder just how the balance was ever unimportant, how we could not see the nightfall coming from the east.

I missed my exercises yesterday so I doubled up today. Man, 60 pushups is fucking hard. Also, I owe an hours worth of both reading and writing. Where does the time go?
